Customized to meet your data collection needs

In this section we are presenting one of the many potential realizations of BEST Workstation.  We created this solution for an injection molding company to standardize their data collection needs.  The system was created with password protected access for as many users as defined by the system administrator(s).  Additionally the user can choose whether to use the Spanish or English version of the interface.

In the data entry tab, users decide whether data is going to be typed manually or imported from an external existing file (.xls).  The menus and buttons in the interface show some of the fields stored in the database.

The data collected and saved in a database can be analyzed by the system to assess the production processes.  Selecting a product name and two dates is enough to produce many predefined analyses including line trends, box plots, capability analysys, and even a text (xls) file to let the user see the data behind the plots.  Below is an example of the by-variable plots generated.

Also, by-cavity plots are generated as shown below.

A sample tab of the administration capabilities of the system is shown below.  The system automatically saves revisions after any changes in key parameters such that a system administrator can make back-tracking of historic changes.
